Where will Brackman Summer?

Andrew Brackman in the coldOne of the top collegiate pitching prospects, NC State’s Andrew Brackman this weekend went 5 innings for the win, giving up 3 hits and 2 runs. Brackman faced 18 batters, striking out 3 and walking just one. He had one earned run, and picked up the win against William and Mary.

Brackman showed up Sunday night as Baseball America’s cover shot. You will recall earlier this season that CodBall reported on his decision not to play basketball, opting instead for baseball this year.

I don’t see Brackman on any Cape Cod roster. If he signs with the CCBL he will be a must-see.

    He played for Orleans last year for a while but left early to fill a spot on the National Team. He’s a junior so I doubt he’ll be back on the Cape. He will either sign or perhaps play USA again.
