Former Falmouth outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury (Oregon State) is featured in Sunday’s Boston Globe and appears in Baseball America’s Top 100 Prospects, coming in at #33.

“Boston downplays Johnny Damon comparisons, but the parallels are hard to ignore,” Baseball America writes in its March 12-25 issue.

In the Globe, Jacoby mentions that someone has a photo of him in the batting cage at Fenway Park when he was a Cape All-star. The Globe couldn’t find the photo but Codball could.

Wikipedia has a nice summary of his stats. He batted .245 for Falmouth but went on in 2005 to bat .406 in his final year at Oregon State.
