Most of that poetry book was written after Batista and a Model/Miss NC broke up. I heard it was a hard break-up.
We have season tickets here, and met She and Miguel when he played here, they both seemed nice, and they seemed enthralled with each other. She's a Criminal Investigator now. Elizabeth,She left for Tokyo or China after they broke up.We have a pic of her w/ Hall of Famer Tommy John.I always wondered what happened to them. She had a successful career at the time and he wasn't expected to make it in baseball.I know she's very religious. We always assumed Miguel must be too, they seemed so close. I think the poetry has alot to do with her.We have the book.

Great interview!. Thank you, but if you ask for the Miguel Batista´s novel in the store of Mariners, they don´t have it. I don´t understand why they don´t support him as a writer.
