Cotuit field manager Mike Roberts, father of Baltimore Orioles player Brian Roberts, is under consideration to become head coach of Campbell University’s baseball program in North Carolina, according to news reports. Campbell is an NCAA Division I baseball program in the Atlantic Sun conference.

Roberts’s official biography indicates he is working as an executive coach in Dallas with the leadership training firm of DeLaPorte and Associates. Roberts was baseball coach for UNC Chapel Hill and has managed the Wareham Gatemen.

Campbell’s baseball program currently lists an interim head coach.
