Day 1: Chatham @ Harwich Opening Night(mare)

mariners-logo.jpgThe evening ended early for those attending the game in Harwich tonight. A van struck a pole near Whitehouse Field causing the power to go out. The driver, a Baltimore Orioles fan, walked himself to the ambulance.

The game ended 9-4 Harwich with 5 innings played.

    In tonight’s Bourne vs. Falmouth game, Braves Kevin Hoef set a Cape League record by being hit 4 times in one game. He broke Hyannis’ Ryan Garko’s record of 3. Braves win 15-8 as Commodores bean 8 batters and have 5 errors.
