Oregon State winning the 2007 CWS is a truly remarkable accomplishment. To come from where this team came from - were they really the third seed in the regional ?? - and to be the last team standing is just amazing. They were the longest of longshots to win the CWS in the years I have been following college baseball. Congrats to the Beavers !

Thank you, Greg - exactly the feeling in the NW this weekend! We were at the Mariners games and we, too, cheered for Griffey. His two homers yesterday were so fitting! We had to return to PDX after the game but not without stopping en route in Olympia to watch the Beavers defend their title (two of us are '84 OSU alums). We couldn't be happier for the OSU baseball program!

Our first trip out to the Cape was to see Mike Stutes pitch for Y-D in 2004. We caught Dallas Buck at Falmouth that summer, too. Last year we cheered Mitch Canham, Joey Paterson and Eddie Kunz with Falmouth. This year we'll be there for Falmouth's Joey Wong and John Wallace (and don't forget Jason Ogata with the Wareham Gatemen)!
