Secret to Catching a Foul Ball

I realize all attention is now on the playoffs. The table is set: Bourne and Falmouth in the West and Y-D and Chatham in the East. First pitches are Friday at 3 p.m.
Nevertheless, I felt the Falmouth Enterprise’s sweet story about how to catch a foul ball at a Cape Cod Baseball League merited mention here. Christopher Kazarian wrote a very enjoyable feature on the kids who attend games and work very hard to find their way to a foul ball. The story is complete with great photography and like any well-written feature — a memorable closing.
The story captures much of what we love about Cape baseball outside the lines — the kids and the pursuit of a ball.
