Bourne Braves 2008 Roster
The Bourne Braves have posted their preliminary roster for the 2008 season (although their website still shows it as “2007″). Andrew G. speculated on a couple of potential new Braves in an earlier post (“Do We Know These Players ?”) back on October 19. He was pretty much on target. Wade Broyles from Mississippi is a player who Andrew thought may come to Bourne but he is not on their roster. Three other Ole Miss players are on the roster however. Kyle Roller from East Carolina is on the roster. Another player who Andrew thought might end up in Bourne was Richard Jones from The Citadel and Jones is on the Braves roster. A report from the Coastal Plain League (another summer collegiate baseball league) indicates that 5 players from the CPL HiToms are headed for the Cape next summer.
