Hyannis Posts Partial Roster

This information was first pointed out by Wille as a comment on a previous posting. As with the information for the Bourne roster, I wanted to put this in a new post just to give it better visibility. Thank-you again, Wille.
The Hyannis roster presently lists 19 players. Notre Dame and Oklahoma are both represented with three players.
On a separate issue, is anyone else surprised by the fact that the Brewster Whitecaps have not announced who their new manager will be? I only mention that because when Hyannis announced Rick Robinson as their manager last year, I believe it was around this time of the year, and there were some people (including Robinson) who felt that getting a manager in place that late cost the team in terms of not being able to get a jump on recruiting players. Many teams have a pretty good idea of who will be on the ’09 team during the ’08 season, or certainly during the fall baseball season.
I’m not surprised because Brewster has never been an organization that is very active in terms of providing news. Their website is never updated (and only was last year by summer interns about games) and they just never seem to be featured at the leaque level. I get the impression that the organization is not a very “active” organization at that level. As a result, news comes out slow; if at all.
