Thank you Greg for the positive review of my book "The Art of Catching." Throughout my playing days, I was always amazed at how little information existed for aspiring catchers or for coaches interested in teaching the position correctly. There wasn't even anything for a curious fan for that matter. The game has been dissected from just about every angle for every position - except the most important defensive one - catchers! So I decided to write this book and share my experience in an effort to fill that void and help out the baseball community.

I really enjoy your blog and wish that I would've had a chance to play in the Cape Cod league. In 1988 I was all set to go to Wareham to play for the Gatemen but it was an Olympic year and I got asked to try out for the team. I chose that route but always regretted not playing back East. Your blog confirms my regret daily! Greg, thank you again for the review and I'm glad you enjoyed the book.
