CodBall All-Star Gathering at Fenway

The CodBall team would like to invite Cape League blog readers and fans who attend the All-Star game at Fenway on July 23 to stop by Section Field Box 79 along the left field line.

I’ll be buying  a few beers and hope you might stop by to say hello. Andrew and I will be there, and we hope Dave and Pat can join us as well.

The gates open at 3 pm and the game starts at 7:05.  We’ll be there in our CodBall t-shirts from 5 pm till 6 pm.

I’ve invited the Cape League brass to stop and I have some indication that a few will. So hope the CodBall faithful can make a showing.  Don’t worry if you are an anonymous commenter. We don’t know who you are so just stop by and use whatever name you want!

    Do you possibly mean meeting at Section 29 rather than 79? I don’t think the Fenway sections go that high numerically, and my son is working this summer as a Tour Guide there … he’s never mentioned so many sections.

    Really enjoy your blog. I go to it every morning along with the other Cape League blogs.

    Phil: I believe it should be “Field Box” 79 which is one of the lower boxes below Section 31. Greg is coordinating the meeting so I’m sure he will verify that for you.

    Thanks for the clarifying question. Yes, the area around Field Box 79 is what I have in mind. See the seating chart I added to this post.

    I chose this area along the left field line because my son and I always walk from the T station and enter through Gate E on Lansdowne St. Then its a short walk to the seats along the left field line — and it’s usually not too crowded.

    The All Stars are expected to be announced this Thursday, 7/16.
