Judy was not happy to hear that news at all, prompting Coach Roberts to respond, "I'm just the field manager." I wonder if Ms. Scarafile's presence at Lowell Park was clue that a certain political figure with CCBL ties was expected at the game. Hmmm. As crazy as this seems, apparently the Orleans team did not have a bus available to them. I don't know when the folks in Cotuit found out that Orleans wouldn't be coming, but if you're saying that fans were already at the game, it must have been a very late call. If the game could have been played, but was not played due to a transportation issue, I have to believe the league officers will not be happy with that situation. The weather was good and the field appeared to be very well prepared by the grounds crew. The game was not cancelled in advance. The home team and fans were there but Orleans did not arrive.
