’09 Cape All-Stars

cape codGreetings from Feway’s press box overlooking home plate.  It’s cloudy, foggy and cool at 4:20. We had showers a  little earlier but it’s dry now.

The West is hacking away in BP now trying to hit the Green Monster like Dan Butler of Brewster did during the East’s BP. Brewster’s Jedd Gyorko drove one over the Green Monster earlier. He is a contestant in the Home Run Hitting Contest.

Cameron Rupp of Cotuit just knocked one out in BP.

I normally avoid the press box since I see CodBall as more of a voice from the bleachers. But I couldn’t resist. There’s also great free Wifi up here and I wanted to bring you a brief report.

The lineup will come from the microphone tonight so I don’t yet have the batting order. Below are the starters as well as pitchers.
